On July 7th, at the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) themed sub forum on "New Advancements in Digital Infrastructure and New Values in Insurance Ecology", Zhongan Insurance fully demonstrated the innovative application, practice, and exploration of "AI+Insurance" digitalization, bringing another advancement in insurance's new infrastructure capabilities.

Currently, insurance technology has undergone a decade of leapfrog development. Zhongan Insurance adheres to the dual engine driven strategy of "insurance+technology" and is committed to exploring the possibility of deep empowerment of insurance business through emerging technologies. At this year's World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Zhongan Insurance released the first AIGC application map in the insurance industry, bringing Zhongan AIGC Zhongtai Lingxi and the first batch of insurance vertical scene AIGC application tools - Yichuang Content Operation Platform and Jizhi Business Analysis Platform.

Jiang Xing, General Manager of Zhongan Insurance, said, "Now, the future has arrived. Zhongan Insurance is grateful for the dividends of the times and has the privilege of deeply integrating insurance technology with industrial development and social livelihood, building a multi-party and win-win insurance ecosystem, and working together to promote more meaningful and valuable innovations."

The new paradigm of "AI+Insurance" application showcases full service capabilities

The insurance industry, which has extensive data accumulation on the B+C end and rich business scenarios, can provide strong underlying support for the implementation of AIGC technology applications. At the sub forum, Jiang Jiyun, Chief Technology Officer of Zhongan Insurance, was the first to release the first "AIGC Application Atlas for the Insurance Industry". Compared to traditional "AI+insurance" applications, TuTuTu starts from six dimensions: product design and innovation, marketing and exhibition, underwriting and claims, customer service, smart office, and research and development management. It conducts feasibility studies on the empowering value and future application potential of AIGC in 19 major categories and 78 sub categories of business scenarios, covering businesses such as property and life insurance, and involving marketing channels such as agents and self operated, Intended to provide reference and inspiration for the digital transformation of the insurance industry.

Jiang Jiyun stated that with the implementation of more vertical industry models and self-developed models, AIGC will demonstrate the potential for integration and migration. Through the combination of scenarios and data, it will achieve advantages such as personalized customization and risk control, bringing more efficient, intelligent, and humanized services.

Currently, in addition to focusing on exploring specific business scenarios, Wei Chenyang, Vice Dean of the Institute of Financial Technology at Tsinghua University and Director of the China Insurance and Elderly Care Research Center, believes that we should also actively explore what "more responsible AI" is, that is, how artificial intelligence can more responsibly and warmly empower the insurance industry, ultimately achieving safety, fairness, inclusiveness, and sustainability.
